Infact, the new Yves Saint Laurent Mascara Volume Effet Cills Baby Doll, £24.50, does live up to the hype. I’ve been using it, oh for about a month and I have to admit I love it.

Being, what I consider a mascara expert, I am pretty impressed with how the multi-faceted brush grips lashes as you glide it through them, delivering just the right amount of mascara formula.

The result? Separated and curled lashes that don’t look clumpy. Tips. Start from the base of lashes and zig zag the brush towards the tips, work from outer eye corners to inner ones and gradually build layers till you get the look you want.
